Meeting Notes for 13 Apr 2011

  • IE10 Preview 1 out (need to begin testing)

Hardware

  • New data server (8x2TiB RAID-6 = 12TiB)
    • Figuring out what to do with the old data server
  • Possibly new four updated compute nodes (3.2GHz four-core/eight-thread Xeon / 8GB RAM / 500GB HD)

Notifications

  • RSS feed for notifications?

CMS

  • TomL needs email addresses for teachers
  • Workshops will be doing the Masterclass exercises
  • Check on CMS poster functionality
  • CMS cut interface needs to be fixed for stacked plots?
  • TomM wants to work on the eLab interface and the data publishing in parallel
    • iSpy Online/Histogram integration
  • CSS gradients need to be fixed for Firefox 4

Community

  • Testing out Facebook pages and groups
  • Like button put in the header (need to clean up CSS)
